Our Story

Pasture-Reared

Inspired by the natural movement of animals within a landscape, we move our chickens daily to fresh and diverse pastures. By foraging on herbs, grasses, and insects, they enjoy a diet that enhances both flavor and texture. Our practices provide the highest welfare for our livestock, and many visitors have commented on the vibrant health of the birds. We manage our birds to promote diversity in the pastures. This daily movement prevents the overuse of resources, allowing them to recover quickly and adding essential nutrients back to the land.

Naturally Slow Grown

We select a breed of chicken that is ideal for seasonal, slow-paced rearing, typically taking 12 to 16 weeks to reach maturity. During the summer, each bird begins foraging on pasture starting at 24 days old. They quickly adapt to our daily routine, eagerly waiting for us to set up their foraging area. We move their mobile field shelters and perimeter fences each day, allowing them to excitedly explore the new area for grazing and scratching for insects.

This daily access to fresh forage is crucial and distinguishes us from static rearing systems, providing our birds with the rich environment they need. Importantly, we do not use any antibiotics or medicated feed.

The only downside to raising our chickens this way is that it is more labor-intensive, which is reflected in the rearing costs. However, we believe that once you taste our produce, you’ll agree it’s worth it.

Fresh Frozen

Our birds are reared, harvested, and processed right here on the farm. We guarantee that we take every step necessary to provide you with a bird that has been raised and harvested in the most ethical manner possible.

Our Poultry products are available frozen, either for you to collect from the farm or delivered to you via courier. We offer whole, oven-ready birds, and chicken portions. Keep an eye on the special offers as we start to add new products.

Regenerative Farming

By purchasing our chicken, you are joining us on a journey toward sustainable agriculture. We are continuously learning new farming techniques that work in harmony with natural systems. Our goal is to improve our farm’s productivity by understanding how our land and livestock management can enhance the natural cycles around us. These cycles help us produce nutritious, healthy food while ensuring the highest welfare standards for our livestock.

By taking a holistic approach to farming, we benefit not only the environment but also the quality of our products. It has become clear that it’s not just our farm’s livestock benefiting from our practices; every season, we see new wild species, both large and small, finding habitats and food, contributing to the regeneration of our farm.

We are excited to offer you high-quality produce directly from our farm.
