As we share our first blog post, we are excited to announce that we are preparing for the 2025 season. A huge thank you to all our customers who have continued to order by phone and collect from the farm. 

This winter has been filled with planning, designing, and building. We have created a new Click n’ Collect room, established a new farm office, and improved our staff facilities.

We are also nearing the completion of a new butchery, which will feature increased chiller space for our Dexter Beef and Pastured Poultry products, as well as a cold smoker to enhance our offerings. This new butchery will allow Jacob, our butcher, and his team to create a variety of delicious meat products. Be sure to keep an eye on our website for new items such as chicken mince, chicken sausages, and cold-smoked cuts. Our pasture-fed Dexter Beef has become incredibly popular among the local chefs we supply, and we look forward to expanding our herd and offering regular selection boxes of Dexter Beef to our domestic customers in the near future.

The rearing season for our pastured poultry is just around the corner, and we can hardly wait for the longer days and the arrival of our first chicks. This year, we will continue to develop our poultry enterprise, building on the success of our new all-enclosed hoop house trial from last year. We will implement further improvements and modifications to better suit the UK climate.

Lastly, the herbal leys we sowed last summer have over-wintered well and are ready to thrive as the weather begins to warm up.
